My fascination with technology began when I was just five years old - tinkering with computers, exploring the internet, and discovering how far curiosity could take me. By fourteen, I was already selling web hosting services through cPanel. By fifteen, I had live-streamed on Justin.tv (the precursor to Twitch), where I hosted and built Minecraft servers on a Linux machine in my basement. These formative experiences sparked a love for innovation, adaptability, and hands-on learning that still drives me today.
I dove deeper into e-commerce at Optics Planet, where I learned the power of Search Engine Optimization and how aligning data-driven strategies with user intent can fuel online sales. Soon after, I joined two brothers’ eBay and Amazon business, doing everything from prepping and packing boxes to managing listings and customer service. This on-the-ground immersion taught me the nuts and bolts of fulfillment, FBA shipments, and Amazon’s strict policies - invaluable lessons I still rely on.
However, my career took a sharp turn when Amazon struck a deal with one of our key suppliers, undercutting our prices by $8 and slashing our monthly orders from 10,500 to just 1,000—practically overnight. The business took a major hit, and I found myself out of work. For four months, I applied to countless jobs with no success. One recruiter even told me I’d never be successful. Frustrated but determined, I realized I needed to forge my own path rather than waiting for an opportunity. So I launched an Upwork profile, betting on my own skills and experience.
That pivotal decision became the foundation of my entrepreneurial journey. As I worked with clients from around the globe, I refined a lean, scalable approach to e-commerce—one that combines data-driven insights with hands-on execution. Over the years, I’ve expanded my skill set to include advanced fulfillment methods, A/B testing, robust inventory management, and strategic marketing campaigns.
